This eight-month graduate certificate program focuses on the application and long-term economic, environmental and social value of sustainability in business.
This program at Seneca College is designed to meet the growing need for professionals who can propose, measure and evaluate sustainability strategies and initiatives.
You will learn how to assess sustainability, identify improvement areas, engage with stakeholders, and integrate sustainability across an organization to improve performance and drive business results.
You will also learn how to influence decision-makers regarding sustainability initiatives and be an inspiring agent of change.

As an international student, you have the option of learning English at Seneca's English Language Institute (ELI) before starting your professional program.
There are eight (8) levels in the ELI that are seven (7) weeks in length each. There are six (6) start dates per year: January, March, May, July, September and November.
If you apply to a professional program and you do not meet Seneca’s English requirements, you may receive an Offer of Admission to your program that is conditional upon completion of the English Language Institute.
The college will use your English test score to place you at the most appropriate ELI level. If you do not have an English score, you will take a placement test when you arrive on campus.
