You will also acquire skills, knowledge and judgment to make positive contributions to the best start in life for infants and their families.
There is a robust body of research and literature on early childhood development, including early mental health.
A certificate in infant mental health from Seneca College will increase your knowledge and skills to work with vulnerable young children and their families.

As an international student, you have the option of learning English at Seneca's English Language Institute (ELI) before starting your professional program. There are eight (8) levels in the ELI that are seven (7) weeks in length each. There are six (6) start dates per year: January, March, May, July, September and November.
You may apply directly to ELI without a professional program. We will use your English test score to place you in the most appropriate ELI level. If you do not have an English score, you will take a placement test when you arrive on campus.
