Honours Bachelor of Interior Design

Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Interior Design program will provide practical, hands-on training and a creative approach while introducing more theoretical and research components.

Sheridan's innovative Honours Bachelor of Interior Design program has always kept pace with rising professional standards in the interior design industry. 

This program is recognized by the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).

This program contains a mandatory internship for all students during the summer (May–August) between the 3rd and 4th year.

Internships are a form of work-integrated learning that links classroom learning with work experience within a professional environment.

Academic background and requirement

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:

  • One English, Grade 12 (ENG4U) with a minimum 65%

plus

  • One Math, Grade 12 (U or M level) or Math, Grade 11 (U or M level) with a minimum 60%
  • Four other Grade 12 subjects (U or M level)
  • Minimum 65% overall average

Note: Applicants applying with Math Grade 11 (U or M) must also have the English (ENG4U 65% or equivalent) plus five other Grade 12 (U or M) credits with a minimum 65% overall average.
