Overview

Advanced Diploma - Computer Programming and Analysis

Today, few organizations make significant plans without thoroughly understanding the implications of Information Technology (IT).

IT professionals are a vital part of decision-making business teams.

George Brown College's three-year (six-semester) Computer Programmer Analyst program answers this need.

A broad education in programming and IT analysis can provide a stable platform for career growth in the rapidly expanding and ever-changing world of information technology.

The industry tells us they are looking for computer programmer analysts with “the total package"; graduates who have both hard and soft skills.

During the program's first two years, you will develop the skills and techniques required for software application development and testing.

In the third year, you will develop advanced technical skills and skills in communications, teamwork and other client service skills.

In this program, you will be exposed to:

  • Project-based and experiential learning.
  • Understanding the fast-growing AI and machine-learning strategies and development.
  • Mobile application development using the latest mobile devices.

Note: If you enrol in January, you must complete semester 2 in the summer, May to August, in the same year.
