The four-year commerce program leads to the Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com.) degree and provides the essential grounding in business subjects while giving students the opportunity to broaden their horizons by taking social science, humanities and science courses as well.

With three distinct programs, the McMaster English Language Development (MELD) Office enables students whose first language is not English to succeed in an English-language environment.

The MELD Diploma is a 1-year (two academic terms) intensive transition program designed for students whose primary language is not English. MELD focuses on the development of academic English, acculturation, and engagement with the university community.
