Computer Science is an ever-changing discipline that studies the theory, design and implementation of computer applications and systems.

Through The School of Computer Science, the Honours Computer Science program at Carleton is organized into diverse streams so that you can develop a particular expertise.
For those students who might be interested in postgraduate studies in Computer Science, please note that an Honours degree is usually required for admission.
Carleton University also offers a Combined Honours program with Mathematics.
Multidisciplinary streams include Management and Business Systems and the Industrial Applications Internship Option.
Specialty streams include AI and Machine Learning, Algorithms, Computer and Internet Security, Computer Game Development, and Software Engineering.

Students with scores shown in Table below may be admitted with an English as a Second Language Requirement (ESLR).
When they first start in their program, these students will be required to take our ESL Foundation courses along with a limited number of courses from their degree program.
