The Sprott School of Business at Carleton University offers a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program that provides a complete business education.
The program is very flexible, with eight concentrations, as well as options to add co-op, study abroad and/or a minor in another subject.
The first two years of the BCom program consist of foundation courses in all business areas.
You will also develop critical skills in various forms of business communications, including presentations, cover letters and resumés.
Sprott students gain resume-building skills through experiential learning opportunities, such as: managing a real investment portfolio through the Sprott Student Investment Fund.
In upper years, you can pursue a concentration or double concentration in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
All BCom students must complete Sprott’s Employability Passport, a four-year career development program that equips them with the job-ready skills and self-awareness to find meaningful employment and career success.
Learn about the entrepreneurial process and experience the steps in starting a business—from idea inception to implementation in the marketplace. Carleton offers support and funding opportunities for student entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship graduates have the knowledge and skills for careers in entrepreneurship, business development, consulting and small business management.
